I’m Edith – originally from Germany and now living in the Australian desert. I’ve been crafting and sewing since I was about seven years old, and creativity is and has been a way for me to relax, slow down, reflect, and to be in the moment.
For a long time, I struggled to find designs that truly resonated with me; pieces that felt calm, meaningful, and intentional. That search eventually led me to creating my own. I invested in specialised software and began designing patterns stitch by stitch, adjusting each one carefully until it felt right.
Living in the Australian desert deeply influences my work. I draw inspiration from the profound beauty of the landscape, the vibrant energy of its animals, and the quiet, grounding energy and sacred stillness of nature itself. Many of my designs reflect this connection through geometry, meaningful symbols, gentle verses, sacred geometry, and calming mandalas; each chosen with care and intention.
For me, cross stitching is more than a craft. It is a form of art, a way to be present, to unwind, and to reconnect with a sense of peace. Many people describe stitching as meditative, and I wholeheartedly agree. There is something deeply grounding about working one stitch at a time, allowing the mind to soften and inviting moments of stillness, presence and quiet creativity.
My aim is to offer unique cross stitch designs that support relaxation, mindfulness, inner calm, and creative joy; pieces that invite you to slow down and enjoy the process as much as the finished work.
Sustainability is also important to me. I do my best to reduce my impact on the environment, animals, and Mother Nature, and I strive to make thoughtful choices wherever possible.

Many of my designs can be customised, and I also accept custom orders for artwork or photographs you own the copyright to. I’m always happy to discuss turning something meaningful to you into a cross stitch pattern.
All patterns offered here are designed and created by me. I do not use AI to create my cross stitch designs. Every pattern is carefully adjusted stitch by stitch before being available on my website. While I sometimes use AI as a writing aid (English is my second language), my designs themselves are entirely handcrafted.
I take great care in creating my patterns, but on the rare occasion that an error slips through, please contact me. I’ll happily correct it and send you an updated version at no cost.
